You do not need a special appointment with an Advisor to declare, though of course you may find such an appointment helpful.  If you've read and you understand the relevant requirements — whether for the Philosophy Major, the Philosophy Minor, or the Cognitive Science Minor — you are ready to declare.  You may get the needed form from the Philosophy Department receptionist (during normal business hours) and fill it out in a matter of minutes.  If you would like an appointment with an advisor, contact the Undergraduate Advisor.
